The Book of Fathers

The book I am going to buy.

Red Circle

This is a made-up Buddha quote from "Le cercle rouge" the movie from Melville. However, I find it interesting, the he could have said it, but there is no record of it... Let's just say, Buddha said this quote by Melville's voice.

"The Buddha took a piece of red chalk and drew a circle, saying: "When men, though unaware of it, must meet again someday, they may follow diverging paths to the given day when, ineluctably, they will be reunited within the red circle." -- Rama Krishna "

I like Delon's movies. Let's put here something I've found today on youtube:

Sagan and Auto Tune

I found this song on the web. Too bad that Sagan is not part of the culture today. I wonder what would he say about the oil, global warming....

A still more glorious dawn awaits
Not a sunrise, but a galaxy rise
A morning filled with 400 billion suns
The rising of the milky way

The Cosmos is full beyond measure of elegant truths
Of exquisite interrelationships
Of the awesome machinery of nature

I believe our future depends powerfully
On how well we understand this cosmos
In which we float like a mote of dust
In the morning sky

How lucky we are to live in this time
The first moment in human history
When we are in fact visiting other worlds
The surface of the earth is the shore of the cosmic ocean
Recently we’ve waded a little way out
And the water seems inviting

The Geek in me and Carl Sagan

Things you find on you tube. Using Auto-tune you can make anything to music. I think Sagan was one of the greatest thinker of our time. Too bad that the upcoming new generation doesn't know his name. Listen to the message:
